This is a Model 783 Magnum magazine intended for use with 7mm Rem Mag and .300 Win Mag cartridges. I purchased a number of these from Remington as they were winding up their operation in Huntsville. Some may have a mottled black oxide coating or possibly a spot of rust starting on the latch spring at the front. Other than a potential cosmetic blemish they are are dimensionally and functionally perfect. If you need an extra magazine or two I don't think that you'll find a better price.
